‘Peaky Blinders’ creator gives update on new James Bond

The next James Bond movie, which is currently being called James Bond 26, is being penned by British writer Steven Knight.

Steven is also the creator of the hit series Peaky Blinders.

While not much is known about the upcoming 007 movie, Steven has given an insight into the writing process.

When asked about the upcoming movie during an interview with Radio Times magazine, the writer said, “I can’t talk about it”.

He was also asked if he will channel his signature grit into the project, to which he replied, “We’ll see, we’ll see… You don’t know what’s going to happen until you start writing.”

Steven was asked the most asked question regarding the franchise right now, who will play the next Bond.

While he clarified that he does not know who will play the role, he said he will pen the script without an actor in mind.

The write has called the opportunity to write the next 007 movie as “exciting and thrilling.”

Previously, he explained the writing process as “Though I do know this character’s going to do this, this, and then they’re going to die, or they’re going to become king. So that’s the plan.”

While the leading man is yet to be revealed, Canadian filmmaker Denis Villeneuve has been announced as the man to direct the 26th Bond movie.
