Jamie Lee Curtis opened up about the tragic death of Charlie Kirk in her recent appearance on a show.
On WTF by Marc Maron, the American actress revealed she disagreed with Charlie Kirk on almost every point, but he was a man of faith.
The ‘scream queen' started the conversation by mentioning how Charlie is on her mind.
The Emmy award winner started weeping and said, “I believe he was a man of faith, and I hope in that moment when he died that he felt connected to his faith.”
“Even though I find what his ideas were abhorrent to me, I still believe he's a father and a husband and a man of faith, and I hope whatever 'connection to God' means, that he felt it," she concluded.
The 66-year-old emphasised that the reason for her emotions being all over the place was not politics but the internet.
Jamie pointed out she fears we have become inured to such violent images and clips, “We are numb to them, but they are in there. We don't know, we don't know enough psychologically about what that does."
It is to be noted that Jamie has been an outspoken critic of Donald Trump since his first term began in 2016. She encouraged and campaigned for Democratic candidates for office, including Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton.
