Kristen Stewart stuns fans with shocking confession

Kristen Stewart, famously known as one of Hollywood’s most acclaimed actresses, shocked fans with a candid admission.

The 35-year-old star, known for her role as Bella Swan in the Twilight Saga, recently appeared at France’s Deauville Film Festival.

She confessed that she struggles to sit through entire films, joking that it “sounds f****** absurd” given cinema is her life’s work. 

“I have to strap myself into a seat to stick with an entire movie,” she admitted. “I drift in and out.”

Despite her short attention span, Stewart said she is constantly inspired by the work of other filmmakers. 

She revealed that Catherine Breillat’s A Real Young Girl heavily influenced her own directorial debut, The Chronology of Water.

While Michael Haneke’s erotic tragedy The Piano Teacher remains one of her all-time favourites. 

The Seberg star praised it as “one of the most genius adaptations” she has ever seen.

The actress also gushed over French cult classic The Lovers on the Bridge, describing it as a raw and tender exploration of love and control. 

“It’s like, you can’t control the things you love,” she reflected.

Most recently, Stewart lit up the screen in the 2024 thriller Love Lies Bleeding, earning rave reviews for her bold performance.

Kristen Stewart married screenwriter Dylan Meyer on April 20, 2025 in a private Los Angeles ceremony. 

The couple had been together for several years before tying the knot.
