Louis Partridge recently opened up about his childhood rival in the industry, with whom he’d compete for roles.
In a conversation with Variety, the 22-year-old actor admitted that in his early days as an actor, he went to auditions with his mom.
He said that in the audition room, there would always be Kit Conner, with his mom competing for the same role.
“For a long time, my acting nemesis was Kit Connor,” Louis chuckled, “He was always in the room in auditions. It was always me and my mum, and him and his mum. And my mum would roll her eyes.”
The Enola Holmes star later said that they are now “good buddies” as those days worked out in their favour.
Notably, Conner rose to stardom with his lead role in Netflix’s Heartstopper series, based on the graphic novel of the same name. Partridge became widely known as Viscount Tewkesbury in Enola Holmes.
After which, he became part of the upcoming Pride and Prejudice cast alongside Netflix’s series House of Guinness.
As of now, Partridge is on the running lists of possible actors who could play the younger version of James Bond. However, it hasn’t been confirmed yet.
Louis Partridge will play George Wickham in the upcoming Euros Lyn series, Pride and Prejudice, written by Dolly Alderton.
