Harry Styles receives fans support after 'insensitive' incident at airport

Harry Styles’ well-wisher came to his defence after a fan asked him a ‘very insensitive question’ at Newark Liberty International Airport.

On September 11, the 31-year-old singer was spotted by fans and paparazzi alike at the airport as he was jetting out of New York City with rumoured girlfriend Zoë Kravitz.

In a video surfacing on TikTok, a fan is seen walking behind Harry as he asks him, “Harry, when is One Direction getting back together. We miss you all together.”

The Watermelon Sugar hitmaker didn’t respond but simply waved his jean jacket at the camera, walking ahead.

Netizens rushed to the comment section on X (formerly known as Twitter) to come to the former band member’s defence. One fan wrote, “pls stop asking why the boys in the band. We hurt, but they hurt more.”

Another follower penned, “So disrespectful omg..who asks questions like that.” They deemed the question insensitive, as Liam Payne’s passing was just a year ago, and without him, there won’t be a One Direction.

They praised the actor for being polite by not answering, though it seemed as if he was trying to walk past the crowd to catch his flight.

For the unversed, on November 20, 2024, the four boys, Zayn, Louis, Harry, and Niall, reunited at Liam’s funeral in Buckinghamshire. After that, there was no news of another meeting.

As of now, it’s difficult to say the former chart-topping boy band will return to the stage together.
