Ed Sheeran’s new album 'Play' was as fans expected?

The album was released on 12 September, with standard and extended version. The standard version had 13 songs while extended version had 18 songs.

The 13 songs featured in the track list include Opening, Sapphire, Azizam, Old Phone, Symmetry, Camera, In Other Words, A Little More, Slowly, Don't Look Down, The Vow, For Always, and Heaven.

As Ed hit another milestone in his career for putting out his eighth studio album, fans were concerned if his style has changed too much.

As soon as the album was released, fans took it to social media to discuss how the songs were “a hit or miss?”

One fan wrote, “I was a bit worried myself due to the singles being kinda meh. But the album is filled out really well”

Another fan commented while agreeing, “Couldn’t agree more, sonically so scared he’d end up overusing Bollywood elements like Sapphire but they seems blend so well with the rest of the album I love itt.”

It is notable that the Shape of You hitmaker has again won the hearts of his fans, as the fans had high expectations because of his recent collaborative hit with Arijit Singh, Sapphire.

The Grammy winning artist’s one more well wisher penned, “It was so good I love it so much, probably gonna have it memorized in a week lol”
