Meagan Good sat down for an interview where she opened up about her decision to stay with husband Jonathan Majors despite the assault case against him.
The actor was found guilty of assaulting his former girlfriend, Grace Jabbari in 2023.
He went on to be sentenced to one year of probation, as well as a one year program focusing on the prevention of domestic violence.
Appearing on the Tamron Hall Show, the couple opened up about their relationship, having tied the knot previously this year.
Saying that the trial brought them closer, Good remarked, "We actively choose to spend this time healing, we actively choose to go to therapy, we actively choose to confide in each other and have real conversations that, regardless if we end up together or not, will be life-changing conversations. Ultimately in that became love."
Majors claimed that despite what happened, his mind is as clear as ever, "A part of my heart and a part of my spirit is attracted and is being called to this other person.”
Speaking to USA Today in an earlier interview, he revealed that Good had taught him not to be an isolationist, "There is a need to have support and help, and you have to help and support yourself – your full self, not just your mind, not just your body, not just your heart. Everything has to be supported to be made whole. Am I whole now? Nowhere close. But there's an understanding that I'm not whole now."
