Emma Myers’ role in the upcoming third season of Wednesday has become the subject of growing speculation among fans.
The cast, Evie Templeton and Emma Myers, of the show sat down with Netflix to discuss the second season conclusion.
The 23-year-old actress was asked if her character Enid would return for the third season, given that she was transformed into a werewolf. To which Myers replied, “She better be back, nobody will tell me anything. She should be.”
Later in the interview, the Family Switch lead added, “I didn’t expect the ending for Enid this season. So when I read that, I was like, whaat!!.”
Netizens commented on social media, expressing their sentiments about everyone’s favourite character. One fan wrote, “They can’t kill her off, Enid is love.” Another follower penned, “I will stop watching the show.”
Previously, Jenna Ortega, the titular character, said, “I don’t think it’s gonna last. Emma Myers makes this show significantly better. She is my favourite character.”
Notably, the second season of Wednesday concludes with a heartbreaking sacrifice by Enid as she wolfs out, knowing she won’t be able to turn back, just to save her best friend, Wednesday.
As of now, creators Alfred Gough and Miles Millar haven’t revealed anything about the future of the Myers character yet.
Wednesday Season 2 is now playing on Netflix.
According to the creators of the show, they want to explore the characters more deeply. Fans will see more Addams family members as the show expands and dives into their dark secrets.
