Taylor Swift to release ‘The Life of a Showgirl’ documentary?

Taylor Swift has just announced a new variant for the The Life of a Showgirl which features a short video from the global popstar.

The 14-time Grammy winner took to her Instagram to show off a new image of her for her iTunes pre-orders, and an exclusive video called A Look Behind the Curtain of 2 minutes and 41 seconds, which fans speculate is a gateway to something bigger.

“Pre-order Taylor Swift’s 12th album and when it’s released on October 3, you’ll get an exclusive video from Taylor herself detailing inspirations behind the album,” says a description on one of her team’s pages.

Meanwhile fans of the I Can Do It With A Broken Heart singer had been theorising that a new documentary is in the works since Taylor has been spotted being filmed during The Eras Tour and in some instances, with fiancé Travis Kelce.

A netizen writes under the video of a user ‘swiftieinkc’ explaining the link between the short video and a documentary, "100% i think it's a trailer. There might be a little message from Taylor and then the trailer or just the trailer..." with a laughing crying emoji.

Notably, while many of Taylor’s fans seem to echo the sentiment, the Mastermind singer has not yet confirmed a documentary with the album
