British actor John Alford has been found guilty of sexual assault.
John appeared in London’s Burning as fireman Billy Ray prior to his solo singing career.
On Friday, the actor appeared in the St Albans Crown Court, where he was convicted of assaulting two teenage girls.
The incident occurred during a party at a friend’s home in property in Hertfordshire on April 9, 2022.
The victims of the actor were aged 14 and 15.
John was charged with four counts of sexual activity with the younger girl and charges of sexual assault and assault by penetration with the other.
When the verdict was announced, John put his head in hands and shouted “Wrong, I didn’t do this” from where he was sitting.
The sobs of the actor could be heard across the court.
The jury of 12 people found him guilty for each count by a majority verdict of 10 to 2.
The jurors heard the case which stated that the actor assaulted the girls as they were drunk following a night out at the pub.
The incident took place at the house of third girl whose father was friends with John.
