Charlie Sheen awkwardly reunites with ex Denise Richards

Charlie Sheen attended the premiere of his new Netflix documentary where he united with his ex, Denise Richards.

Speaking to the audience about Aka Charlie Sheen, the controversial actor said, "So I haven't been to a premiere in a couple of decades, a few things have changed. I show up and my drug dealer has taken more photos than I have. And in the next minute I'm on the red carpet with my gorgeous ex-wife, like we're headed out on the town. What the hell happened?"

While the first part of the documentary was shown at the premiere, the second, which follows his substance abuse run in the late 2000s and early 2010s, was not, "If we were to watch Part 2, then we wouldn't be able to maintain, at the end of it, any eye contact.”

The documentary includes interviews with his childhood friend Sean Penn, brother Ramon Estevez, Chris Tucker and estranged former Two and a Half Men costar Jon Cryer.

Director Andrew Renzi praised Sheen for his current emotional stability, "I never could have imagined that Charlie and this project would be the most stable and reassuring presence in my life. But it's really the poetry in all this. It's no secret that Charlie has been defined in the public by having an unmatched, mercurial and unpredictable persona. That can be sexy and it can be romantic and dangerous, and makes a great documentary."
