Pop sensation Sabrina Carpenter, who recently released her album Man’s Best Friend, has opened up about her “type” and her approach to love.

The 26-year-old hitmaker, known for her chart success, was first linked to Shawn Mendes before later sparking a romance with actor Barry Keoghan.

While speaking to Interview magazine, Sabrina admitted she has a soft spot for men who are “super passionate and talkative.”

She explained, “Obviously, conversation’s a huge thing for me because I don’t really shut up.”

The songstress went on to stress that qualities such as empathy and emotional maturity matter most to her, though she confessed she hasn’t always found the right match.

Notably, the star has also made her mark as an actress, away from her music.

While reflecting on her dating life, she described herself as “pretty transparent” in relationships.

The Please Please Please singer revealed that her former partners often feel flattered when she writes about them.

Speaking to CBS Mornings, she said, “I write songs and I think they’re just as down for it. Most of the time, they’ve been pretty flattered.”

However, Sabrina declined to reveal who inspired the tracks on her latest record.

“It’s more fun for people to picture in their head than the person I picture in my head,” she teased.
