Cardi B’s highly publicised court case has finally reached a verdict after a hefty amount was on the line as compensation for the allegations.

The case pertained to a security guard, Emani Ellis, filing a $24 million lawsuit against the Grammy winning artist for escalating a verbal altercation and physically attacking her during a visit to her OB/GYN in 2018.

Throughout the proceedings, the mother-of-three maintained her innocence, noting that the fight never went beyond just words, and the jury as well as the judge have found her to be honest as she is cleared of all charges.

The Los Angeles Superior Court jurors debated for less than hour for the case, and unanimously agreed that Emani had failed to prove her claims, some of which included the Bodak Yellow hitmaker scratching, spitting and shouting racial slurs at the plaintiff.

As per Cardi, whose real name is Belcalis Marlenis Almanzar, the fight started because she saw the guard recording her without her consent, and her recollection of events was backed by the medical professional as well as the receptionist at the time.

Notably, the 32-year-old warned after her win that this time she did not countersue, but if such a thing were to happen again, she definitely will make people pay for their frivolous suits.

What is Cardi B doing at the work front?

Cardi is gearing up to release her second studio album Am I The Drama? coming out on September 19, 2025.
