Jacob Elordi has made a strong appearance at the Venice Film Festival over the past couple of days, and he’s here for his fans.

On Saturday, Aug. 30, the Netflix breakout star attended the festival for the world premiere of his movie Frankenstein.

During an interaction with fans, the actor was recorded making harsh remarks to a festival official.

In a clip posted by TikTok user @mancrushdaily, Elordi was seen reassuring a festival staffer before saying, “I’m gonna take a picture right here.”

Holding a pen ready for autographs, the Saltburn star turned to the official and added, “Don’t ever tell me what to do,” just before posing with a fan.

In the caption, the TikTok user praised Elordi, noting he “was so nice” and “took photos with everyone he could” throughout the event.

Frankenstein tells the story of Victor Frankenstein (Oscar Isaac), a gifted but arrogant scientist who creates life (Elordi), only to unleash tragedy that destroys both the creator and his doomed creation.

The movie is directed by Guillermo del Toro and received a 13-minute standing ovation at the Venice Film Festival, with stars Elordi, Isaac, and Mia Goth in attendance.

The film arrives in theatres on Oct. 17 and on Netflix from Nov. 7, while the Venice International Film Festival continues through Sept. 6.
