Orlando Bloom makes life-changing decision after Katy Perry split

English actor Orlando Bloom recently split from pop star Katy Perry after they called off their engagement.

Soon after splitting from Orlando, Katy was spotted having lunch with Justin. He later attended one of her concerts. Meanwhile, Orlando has decided to make major move.

Orlando has applied for an Irish passport.

Speaking on Virgin Radio following his breakup, the actor said he wants to embrace his Irish roots that went back to his grandfather, who was Northern Irish.

“I’m getting my Irish passport. [My grandfather] was actually from Northern Ireland,” he said.

He said it was a lot of paperwork saying, “Part of it was actually just for work, like, when I was working in Prague for a while, [there was] a whole bunch of new paperwork.”

The 48-year-old also said, “I love the fact that I’ve got Irish heritage. That’s all it is.”

The English actor was married to supermodel Miranda Kerr and later he entered in a long-term relationship with Katy Perry, to whom he got engaged in 2019 and welcomed a daughter with in 2020.
