Pierce Brosnan excites fans with potential James Bond return
The actor played 007 in four movies
Pierce Brosnan is one of the most iconic actors of the ‘90s, who is best known for playing the role of British superspy James Bond.
The actor appeared in 4 movies as the secret service agent from 1995 to 2002.
As the new James Bond movie is underproduction, with the cast yet to be revealed, Pierce has something to say about the upcoming movie.
“There are many great candidates out there, I'm sure they're going to make it a spectacle of delight”, the actor said about contenders to play 007.
When asked about the possibility of him playing the role again, he said “I don't think anyone wants to see a craggy, 72-year-old Bond”.
However, he added that if the new Bond director, Denis Villeneuve, had something up his sleeves, he would look at it “in a heartbeat”.
“It could be lots of laughs. Bald caps, prosthetics... who knows?”.
Previously, the actor gave advice to the upcoming Bond, saying the new James Bond should be “bold”.
“Know yourself, be strong, go out there and have a great time”, he added.
Many names are being listed as potential contenders for the role including Tom Hiddleston, Timothee Chalamet, Tom Holland, Idris Elba, Joe Alwyn and Aaron Taylor-Johnson, but no confirmation has been made yet.
