Coldplay’s innocent kiss cam moment-turned-global sensation appears to be haunting the band’s lead vocalist Chris Martin as he makes a couple go through a checklist before proposing.
The Yellow hitmaker appeared to be hesitant to help the couple have their special moment as their faces flashed on the jumbotron, so he decided to ask them some important questions to make sure that a fresh scandal does not take place.
In the fan-posted clip, the 48-year-old starts, “OK, now listen, my brother, I need you to nod as I do some basic security checks, OK?”during their Wembley stadium show in London.
“Is this person your partner? Yes? No one else’s partner? OK. “Are you cousins or siblings or anything weird like that? … Are you AI? Are you real people? OK, then I think we can continue,” Chris states, as the couple cleared the questions.
The reference seemed to be all in good fun after the very serious scandal that became all the rage not too long ago.
At the time, the British singer seemed confused as the couple they had highlighted quickly separated from each other, only for the fan-posted clips of the awkward moment leading internet sleuths to track down the identities of the duo.
Notably, the couple was cheating on their respective partners at the time, and thus shied away after being caught red-handed.
The couple was the CEO, Andy Byron and the head of HR, Kristen Cabot of the company Astronomer, which made headlines as more and more people got involved in the duo’s future with the company.
