Tom Hiddleston's surprise reaction to Taylor Swift mention on show

Tom Hiddleston recently had an unexpected reaction when his ex-girlfriend, Taylor Swift, was mentioned by a radio show host. 

In an interview with Heart Radio show, the 44-year-old actor appeared taken aback when the globally renowned pop singer was brought up mid-conversation about sports.

“We did just find out—Taylor Swift, big fan of a sourdough recipe blog," the host said, “Very, very specific but I see how you could get into that.”

The Broadway star looked confused for a second since he was talking about his love for reading online sports blogs. He went blank and shortly after let out a nervous laugh.

Hiddleston was saved by his co-star Karen Gillian, who sat beside him during the show. “That feels like an easter egg for something," she said, referring to the popstar’s obsession with sourdough and linking it with the mascot for an NFL team.

She continued, “I think it might be something to do with the Super Bowl.” It’s when the Avenger’s anti-hero praised her for her ‘deep knowledge’ about the NFL.

Previously, in an interview with GQ magazine, Hiddleston reflected on his four-month relationship with the Grammy winner. He said, “She’s generous and kind and lovely, and we had the best time.”

After their breakup, Swift released the track, Getaway Car, part of her Reputation album, which led fans to speculate that the song is about her short-lived time with the Thor actor.

As of now, Tom Hiddleston has been engaged to Zawe Ashton since March 2022. The couple share a three-year-old son and is expecting a second child.
