Sophie Turner recently opened up about her mental health struggles before having kids with her ex-husband, Joe Jonas.
In conversation with Harper's Bazaar, the 29-year-old actress shared how she would feel "depressed and anxious all the time."
She said, “Before I had kids, I was very depressed and anxious, and I would isolate [myself] a lot. Now, I think I live my life for them.”
The Game of Thrones star admitted that she wanted to be seen as a ‘hard-working mum’ by her children.
Notably, Sophie Turner shares two girls, Willa and Delphi, with her ex-partner, Joe Jonas. The couple was married for six years before getting divorced in 2024; they now share custody of their daughters.
Previously, The Joan lead described her divorce as ‘incredibly sad’, which affected filming her upcoming movie, Trust.
While on Late Night with Seth Meyers, the mom of two confessed she was going through ‘media hell’ while shooting the project.
“So this was super cathartic because I wanted to run away in my real life when that was all happening,” she said, referring to her divorce from the singer.
For the unversed, Turner moved back to England following the separation from the Jonas Brothers member. She is currently promoting her latest film, Trust, which is set for release on August 22, 2025.
