A light-hearted comment on Instagram suggested Swift could have been the one inside the costume.

Social media buzzed with talk that the chart-topping singer had quietly appeared in the much-awaited sequel.

Netflix also responded with an eyes emoji, which some took as a hint.

Though the idea sparked brief excitement, it didn’t hold up for long.

Entertainment Tonight confirmed the role was played by stuntman Brandon Alan Smith, not the Eras Tour hitmaker.

Despite this, several outlets ran headlines implying that Swift’s fanbase believed the theory.

Her followers were quick to speak out, insisting they never fell for the idea.

“No one said that,” one person wrote on X, replying to the New York Post.

Another added, “Taylor Swift fans think? No chance.”

“I’ve not seen a single person believe it,” someone else said, while another joked, “Are the fans in the room with us?”
