Jessica Biel gets slammed by fans for ‘elitist’ comments

Jessica Biel is in hot waters after she gave an interview to Parade where she revealed things that are off limits for her family.

Explaining that since her sons Silas, 10, and Phineas, 4, as well as her husband, Justin Timberlake want to eat healthy, certain restaurants are banned, including McDonald’s.

"I'm like, 'Sorry, guys, I’m not doing it,'" she claimed. "They don’t get McDonald's."

The actress continued, "I just feel like I don’t know what's going on with [the] quality of that food. It's stuff like that that I'm like, 'No, we're not.' Let's go have a great burger and fries at a fancy place. I'd rather pay more for you to have something fancy than something like that."

"That would be something that, if they asked me for, I would just be like, 'Next! Next place. Next down the line!,’” she added.

While some people certainly agreed with the sentiment, with comments like "It's so unhealthy. I agree," and, "Has it been in my house, yep. But as I age, nopers,” others were not very on board.

People expressed sympathy for her children writing, "Poor little boys," with another saying they are "glad [they] don't live there."

Certain people felt that her views were “privileged” as not everyone could afford to get expensive alternatives to fast food as one user wrote, “See here's the thing Jessica, some of us are poor.”

One person mocked the star, saying, "Ok millionaire.. thanks for sharing."
