The iconic boy band NSYNC’s bandmate Justin Timberlake recently announced that he was diagnosed with Lyme disease, which earned a sincere comment from another member.
Shortly after the Bye Bye Bye crooner’s announcement of suffering from a severe health condition, which left him weak and tired during Romania concert, support started pouring in from loved ones.
On Thursday, July 31, the American singer took to his Instagram account to support his former bandmate by uploading a snapshot featuring himself, Justin Timberlake, JC Chasez, and Lance Bass.
In the heartfelt social media post, the 53-year-old record producer wrote, “I’ve always known my little bro was tough — but this tour showed me a whole new level of strength.”
“Watching him battle Lyme disease day in and day out, while still getting on that stage night after night, was something I’ll never forget,” he continued.
Furthermore, the I Want You Back hitmaker gushingly stated that this sort of love for the work is rare, adding, “he couldn't be more proud to call him my friend”.
For the unfamiliar, Timberlake’s two-year-long The Forget Tomorrow World Tour concluded on July 30, and received massive backlash from the concertgoers who claimed that the singer was lip syncing and low energy during the show.
What is Lyme disease?
Lyme disease is caused by transmission of certain type of bacteria in blood called Borrelia bacteria. The condition if left untreated causes joint pain and several neurological problems.
