In their recent Instagram post, the clothing line cleared the air that “Sydney Sweeney Has Great Jeans” is strictly based on the “jeans.”

They penned down a special line about Sydney: “Her jeans. Her story.”

The denim company maintained that they will continue to “celebrate how everyone wears their AE jeans with confidence, their way.”

The statement concluded with a remark: “Great jeans look good on everyone.”

The move added fuel to the ongoing debate as one user advised them to “Ignore the negativity. Brilliant ad.”

Another netizen felt that it is “giving ‘I’m sorry you feel that way’.”

While many were not convinced by the remarks as someone alleged: “You knew exactly what you were doing.”

A similar comment was made by an Instagram user, poking fun at the enterprise: “They really thought they ate with that explanation.”

Contrary to the ongoing backlash, it was reported earlier by a separate source that the ad was being appreciated.
