Justin Timberlake left fans surprised after revealing shocking details about his ongoing health challenges.
This announcement comes right after the singer's latest concert in Romania which received massive backlash from the attendees.
Taking to his official Instagram account on Thursday, July 31, the American pop singer disclosed that he is dealing with a serious health disorder called Lyme’s disease, which occurs due to tick bites.
Along with the emotional note, the Cry Me a River singer posted a carousel containing snapshots from his Forget Tomorrow World Tour, which concluded on July 30.
In the emotional post, he penned, “Well, as these two incredible years come to an end and I look forward to the future, I wanted to write something from the heart. It’s not an easy task to try to contextualize the whirlwind of touring –– but, I will try…”
"Among other things, I've been battling some health issues, and was diagnosed with Lyme disease - which I don't say so you feel bad for me - but to shed some light on what I've been up against behind the scenes," he continued.
Moreover, Justin, who keeps his private life out of the spotlight, shared that living with this disorder is grueling and "debilitating", as it's affecting his quality of life.
The American songwriter also confessed that when he learned about his disease, he was torn between the decision to discontinue the tour but eventually he chose to keep going on with his passion.
For the unversed, Lyme’s disease is caused by a certain type of bacteria called Borrelia bacteria, which leads to neurological issues along with severe joint pain.
The multifaceted singer-actor has unveiled that he is suffering from Obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD) and Attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADD).
