Madonna recently shared a digital re-release of her track, Dress You Up on the song’s 40th anniversary.
The 66-year-old singer dropped three tracks, which feature a remixed version, the 12 formal mixes of the track, and the instrumental version.
She dedicated the re-release to Barbie designers Mario Paglino and Gianni Grossi, who passed away in a car accident in Italy earlier this week.
The press release read, “Thank you for dressing up so many of your creations in Madonna's iconic looks over the years.”
Dress You Up was the final single of her LP (long play) Like A Virgin. The song was produced by Nile Rodgers and was put out in 1985.
Though the Frozen singer hasn’t released any new music for the past six years, making it her biggest hiatus. Madonna has been working on a new series with Netflix.
Notably, filmmaker Shawn Levy will develop the series, and it’s unclear which period of her life the show will feature. However, Madonna did hint at her highly anticipated biopic being turned into a TV series.
For the unversed, Julia Garner is set to play the lead for the show, which, according to the actress, “is still supposed to happen.” She will portray the Queen of Pop.
