Katy Perry is currently in Canada for her Lifetimes tour, and has marked some surprising outings with the former Prime Minister Justin Trudeau.

The father-of-two was also drawn to the concert, as he was spotted in the crowd for the Teenage Dream singer’s Montreal venue.

In the headline making snap, the politician could be seen smiling as he looked smitten with the 40-year-old songwriter.

Soon after the performance, Katy shared snaps from the concert to her Instagram, flaunting her impressive stage setups, energetic performances, massive audience and memorable costumes.

The Thinking of You crooner also added a simple but enthusiastic caption, “[Canadian flag emoji] so far!”

Katy kicked off the carousel with a snap of herself somersaulting through the air, as is the norm for her impressive series of shows during the ongoing tour.

She also posted a collage and an image of her stage shaped like infinity, while she supports her latest album 143, released in September.

Meanwhile the Cry About It Later singer has been sparking up romance rumours with Justin since they have recently marked some appearances together, including a dog-walking outing followed by a dinner date.
