The world of metal rock was left mourning as it was announced that the Prince of Darkness Ozzy Osbourne has passed away.
The singer died on July 22 in the presence of his family in his home.
Although the singer’s dynamic life was plagued with a lot of things including addiction with alcohol and drugs, it has not been revealed what was the eventual cause of his death.
Ozzy, before his passing, had revealed how he wants his last rites and resting place to be like. He wanted it to be a celebration and not a “mope-fest”.
The singer’s funeral procession was carried around his home town of Birmingham where thousands gathered to honour the late star.
Along with the funeral, Ozzy also wanted to be buried and not cremated.
He infamously wrote in his book, “I want to be put in the ground, in a nice garden somewhere, with a tree over my head.”
Ozzy will be buried in the 250-acre property in Buckinghamshire in a private ceremony.
