Big Sean has spoken about the emotional message he delivered during Justin Bieber’s Coachella 2026 performance.
For the unversed, the 38-year-old made a surprise stage appearance during the Peaches songwriter's Weekend 2 headline set on April 18 and shared a short speech about his journey and emotional well being.
Speaking later at the Mindful Nation Mental Health Awareness Month event at Live Nation’s Beverly Hills headquarters, the Detroit rapper told People magazine that the speech was not planned.
He stated, “I didn’t know I was gonna say what I said on stage. I was just inspired.”
He added that the moment felt very natural and emotional, and he did not fully remember his words right after leaving the stage.
“When I got offstage, people were telling me what I said was powerful. I was like, ‘What did I even say?’ I had to go back and listen,” he shared.
He further shared that the Baby singer and Hailey Bieber reached out after the event to thank him, saying,
“They hit me days later and said they were still feeling good about it and really appreciated what I said. Justin told me I was dropping bars, but I didn’t even plan it like that.”
Moreover, he added that Bieber has grown up in the public eye and continues to learn through his personal and professional experiences.
