Jenna Ortega believes young people are struggling
The actress made a comment on young people and their struggles in this day and age
Jenna Ortega is one of the most influential young actors of the 2020s who has realised her role as a youth idol.
The actress has been promoting the second season of her hit show Wednesday, where she has been raising voice on important issues.
In conversation with BBC, at the London premier of the show on July 30, the actress talked about how social media is isolating young people.
She compared life of young kids today to the older decades where there was more physical social life than a virtual one right now.
“I wasn’t around in the ’70s, but I hear stories of people knocking on their neighbours’ doors and the bikes going all throughout the city”, she said.
The young actress also talked about how isolated kids today are as they are interacting and forming communities online only.
According to the actress, the younger people struggle to find a sense of self.
