Diddy prepares to receive presidential pardon in federal case?

Diddy was found guilty on two counts in sex trafficking and racketeering trial, which garnered public attention worldwide.

However, a shocking turn is expected in the case ahead of sentencing as President Donald Trump is reportedly showing interest.

According to Deadline, Trump is “seriously” looking forward to grant Diddy a full presidential pardon before the final sentence.

The administration source noted that Trump is planning to help the music mogul get out of the jail despite being convicted on two counts.

It was reported by the outlet that the consideration has become “an actionable event” after recent developments.

The verdict was announced in the starting of July, declaring that the Bad Boy Records owner "not guilty" of sex trafficking and racketeering charges.

The rapper will receive judgment on October 3, facing a decade-long sentence maximum in prison. This would include the time already served by the record executive.

The possibility of a pardon has been under review since the onset of the trial in May, 2025 with Trump maintaining that “some people have been very close to asking.”

While he is considering the get out of jail card, the president claimed he hasn’t “seen [Diddy]” or “spoke to him” in years.

The head of state added: “He used to really like me a lot” before his entrance in to politics.
