Pete Davidson rose to fame for his impeccable comic timing on Saturday Night Live.

The actor now looking back at his first time ever on the show, recalled how he almost “bombed” the sketch.

The comedian made an appearance on Hot Ones on July 28, where he told that his first ever sketch was with acting legend Jim Carrey.

“My first real sketch Jim Carrey was hosting. I was so excited because he’s Jim Carrey, one of the legends, and we wrote this sketch where it’s like a zombie apocalypse”, Pete said.

The sketch was titled Zombie Apocalypse High School, where Pete played the role of Jim’s zombie son who himself was not a zombie.

“The sketch bombed to high heavens. And it’s a long one, like it’s six minutes.”, Pete recalled.

He added “And the only thing that made people laugh, there was like one scene, one part where I was supposed to, like, try to attack Jim and he hits me with a bat and that got a pop”.

Pete went on to explain how Jim tried to save the sketch by hitting him with a bat which eventually started to hurt.
