Gwyneth Paltrow, who was previously married to Coldplay’s Chris Martin, was featured in a new advertisement of Astronomer after company faced kiss-cam controversy.
However, the unexpected collaboration with the Iron Man lead reportedly cost a huge sum to the tech-giant.
Amy Odell, who penned down a book on Gwyneth, took to Instagram to claim having access to exclusive knowledge about her “past endorsement deals.”
Being her unauthorised biographer, the author alleged that the Sliding Doors star was likely paid millions by the company considering her other deals with brands.
According to the writer, the Academy Award winner made an appearance at the Red Sea International Film Festival in Saudia Arabia for $1.6 million.
The actress and Swarovski signed a deal of $1.25 million to endorse their accessories on several occasions.
Meanwhile, the Avengers: Infinity Wars star has yet to comment on the claims made by Amy.
This came after the actress was “hired on temporary basis to speak on behalf of the 300+ employees at Astronomer,” answering some of the frequently asked questions.
It is to be noted that the humiliating scandal was not addressed in the video.
On July 16, the CEO Andy Byron and the HR Chief Kristin Cabot were accidentally caught hugging each other on a kiss-cam during Chris’ concert.
The lead vocalist could be heard saying: “Either they are having an affair or they are just really shy.” Little did he know the couple were actually married to different partners.
The clip went viral overnight as it was recreated by celebrities and turned into memes by social media users.
