Sharon Stone stuns fans with revelation about violent assault

Sharon Stone has opened up about a terrifying mystery that haunted her for years.

The 68-year-old actress revealed that she only discovered the true extent of a violent attack a decade after it happened.

The Basic Instinct star made the shocking admission during an appearance on the podcast hosted by CBS correspondent David Begnaud.

She recalled how she woke up unconscious and surrounded by chaos after being struck from behind.

“I was hit from behind,” Sharon revealed. 

“I didn’t really know until 10 years later what had happened to me.”

The Hollywood icon said she came to on the floor with no memory of the incident, finding furniture overturned and items scattered around the room. 

At the time, she had no idea how she had ended up there or what had caused the destruction.

The chilling truth only emerged years later when Casino actress sought treatment for severe pain in her neck and shoulders. 

During a series of medical examinations, doctors discovered extensive old injuries.

According to the Total Recall actress, a specialist told her that her thoracic rib cage had been fractured and had scarred back together, injuries he believed were consistent with a serious assault.

While the revelation left many questions unanswered, the Oscar-nominated actress refused to publicly identify the alleged attacker. 

She did, however, insist that the incident was reported and that the proper steps were taken at the time.

Despite believing she had enough circumstantial evidence to pursue legal action, Sharon said she ultimately chose not to press charges.

The Sliver star explained that too much time had passed and, as a public figure, she did not want the case to define her life.

Asked whether the attack was linked to domestic violence, she remained tight-lipped, simply responding: “I’m not at liberty to say.”
