Ozzy Osbourne, who passed away days after his farewell show, was known as Prince of Darkness for his morbid stunts and uniqueness.

Although the 76-year-old singer was notable for his music legacy, Ozzy would always be remembered for his bat-biting moment.

Experts analysed the act to confirm that the act required great bite power to separate bat’s head from the body, as dished by TMZ.

Kathryn Slater, working as marketing, media and PR manager at Bat Conservation International, concluded that the musician seemingly trained his jaw to perform the act.

It was noted by the expert that biting head of the mammal takes a lot of strength to sink teeth through layers of muscle, tissue and bone.

However, it was the adrenaline rush which made it look easy for the on-lookers.

In 1982, Ozzy was touring in support of his album Diary of Madman.

During his show, a fan threw a bat on the stage which was picked up by the Suicide Solution crooner, who thought it was a toy.

After chewing the mammal, he rushed to hospital to get rabies shot.

What did Ozzy Osbourne say about bat-biting incident?

The heavy metal singer expressed his regret while talking about the incident in his 2010 autobiography.

He admitted it felt really “wrong” after his mouth “was instantly full of this warm, gloopy liquid.”
