‘Fantastic Four’ Galactus star talks prepping for the role
Galactus star Ralph Ineson opened up about how he prepped for the role in 'Fantastic Four: First Steps'
Ralph Ineson, who takes on the role of Galactus in Fantastic Four: First Steps, opened up about how he prepped for the role.
In an interview with DiscussingFilm, he admitted to standing on top of high rise buildings and driving through tunnels in the Alps to get into the mindset to a cosmic being.
He continued, “You can’t work out if he’s married or not, if he has kids, what does he order when he goes to the pub. These are questions you’d ordinarily ask to try and get yourself into a character.”
Instead, the actor leaned into the fact that he had been alive “longer than anybody could understand, time-wise.”
When driving through the tunnels in the Alps, Ineson explained that he would imagine them being in the creature’s throat, “How big and powerful that would be! So you have to approach things in a different way.”
“Mister Fantastic, Invisible Woman, Human Torch and the Thing face their most daunting challenge yet as they defend Earth from Galactus and Silver Surfer,” reads the synopsis of the film.
It is set to hit theaters on 24 July, starring Pedro Pascal, Vanessa Kirby and more.
