Simon Cowell is getting ready for another talent hunt, this time to find the next girl group that resembles Little Mix.

The 65-year-old, who has produced some of the most successful pop acts of the past 20 years, has been working on a new Netflix series in which he searches for the next One Direction member.

The Next Act, which will be available for streaming on Netflix in the upcoming months, follows Cowell on his quest to discover the next worldwide boyband in the style of One Direction.

It is believed that he is eager to capitalise on the ring and is already considering a second series, this time focusing on up and coming girl groups, even though Netflix has not yet commissioned the second series.
