Meghan Markle’s Netflix cooking series With Love, Meghan has taken a serious hit after official data revealed just how poorly the show performed globally.
While the Duchess of Sussex’s lifestyle show debuted back in March to much media buzz, it appears the program couldn’t sustain momentum.
In its first week, With Love, Meghan cracked Netflix’s Global Top 10 with 2.6 million views.
But things quickly went downhill: since then, it has managed to attract only another 2.7 million views, bringing its total to 5.3 million. That dismal figure places it at a staggering 383rd place in Netflix’s 2024 global rankings.
For comparison, Netflix’s most-watched show this year, Adolescence, pulled in 145 million views, nearly 30 times more than Meghan’s total.
Even Squid Game’s second season delivered 117 million views, cementing its spot in the streaming giant’s elite tier.
Prince Harry’s Polo documentary fared even worse, ranking 3,436th with just 500,000 views.
When it first aired, With Love, Meghan was panned by critics:
The Guardian called it a "gormless lifestyle filler" and suggested it might be "the Sussexes’ last TV show."
The Telegraph described it as "insane" and an "exercise in narcissism."
Despite the rough reception, Meghan remained upbeat, telling fans that her project “feels like a new chapter that I’m so excited I get to share.”
