Penn Badgley and Meghann Fahy were all smiles as they strolled the streets of New York City side-by-side.

The pair sported casual wear on the occasion, carrying small portable fans as they attempted to beat the summer heat.

The You actor put his physique on display with a white tank top, paired with black, worn-out jeans and a pair of sneakers, accesorising the look with a silver chain.

Meanwhile the Sirens star matched her co-star with a chic white top with ruffles around the neckline and sleeves, and blue, high-waisted denim with a brown belt.

Meghann completed the ensemble with white trainers, dainty jewelry and her blonde hair tied up in a bun.

The duo appeared to be filming for their upcoming movie adaptation of the book You Deserve Each Other, which originally came out in 2020.

In a fan-captured video, Penn and The White Lotus star who held on to a bunch of letters, seemed to be struggling with each other.

The clip aligns with the premise of the film, which basically follows Naomi and Nick, an engaged couple headed for married, but the catch is they have fallen out of love with each other.

“With the wedding rapidly approaching and its pressure mounting, they both resolve to secretly push the other into calling off the wedding using all means at their disposal – pranks, sabotage, and all-out emotional warfare,” the synopsis concludes.
