Ariana Grande recently honoured her late grandmother, Marjorie (affectionately known as Nonna), with a touching Instagram post.
On Saturday, the 32-year-old singer shared a carousel of intimate moments, including childhood pictures with her brother, Frankie, and a rare clip of Marjorie kissing Ariana’s mother.
The tribute included a special nod to their bond, and the final slide showed a blue sky with a full moon.
She captioned the photo, “Are you a good witch or a bad witch?” a playful question the actress asked her grandmother. Beneath it, she shared Marjorie’s response: “I’m a perfect witch.”
The exchange refers to the actress's role as Glinda the Good Witch in the 2024 musical film Wicked, which she watched with her late grandmother in Boca Raton, Florida.
According to the fans, Marjorie would have been a teenager when the original Wizard of Oz was released back in 1939.
Notably, the Nickelodeon alum announced Marjorie’s passing at age 99 in early June, writing, “We are devastated to share that the beloved matriarch of our family has passed away.”
For the unversed, Wicked, adapted from the Wizard of Oz musical, won two Academy Awards in 2024, with Ariana earning praise for her remarkable performance.
