Coco Jones, Donovan Mitchell announce engagement after secret romance

Coco Jones and Donovan Mitchell have officially taken their relationship to the next level as the couple announced their engagement, delighting fans with the exciting news.

The Grammy winning singer, 27, and the Cleveland Cavaliers player, 28, announced their engagement on Instagram on Friday, July 11, after mainly keeping their relationship under wraps.

"After an amazing season and a sold-out tour, Donovan Mitchell and Coco Jones took a moment to recharge on vacation, which turned it into a beautiful engagement," the couple's representatives told PEOPLE in a joint statement.

“The couple has been dating for two years and look forward to building a life together,” the statement continues.

They both posted a picture of themselves kissing on social media, with Jones' hand resting on Mitchell's chest and displaying her enormous engagement ring with pride.

The NBA player also posted an overhead video of the proposal, which was held at what looked like a resort by a body of water with wind-blown palm trees.

They can be seen strolling past a swimming pool in the video before Mitchell popped the question. They embraced after she said yes.
