Colin Jost shrugs off Scarlett Johansson's smooches

Amid internet buzz surrounding Jurassic World Rebirth actress who was photographed smooching on the red carpet at the film’s London and New York City premieres last month.

Colin Jost breaks his silence after a month while he appeared for an interview with an online portal, where the reporter and Jost discussed all the things that he didn’t expect to become a story, like the co-stars’ tender moment.

The SNL star playfully said, “I guess in Jurassic Park terms, the attack always comes from the raptor you never thought [of], of all the threats out there, I wasn’t thinking it was Jonathan Bailey.”

"People really blow it out of proportion. When someone like, kisses their friend hello. That’s pretty nuts,” Jost said.

Scarlett Johansson fired back at the trolls

The Black Widow actress and Wicked actor made headlines when photos of their smooches went viral on the internet.

Following that gaffe, Johansson appeared on a TV show, where she seems to be in agreement with her co-anchor Craig Melvin that their kisses were familial and friendly: “He’s a lovable guy, what can I say?" Johansson commented while speaking about Bailey, “I don’t know, we’re friendly people.”

When asked about the trolling regarding the kisses, she said, “Nothing surprises me, you know what I mean? Nothing surprises me these days. But yeah, I’ve got a lot of love to give, what can I say?”
