Gina Rodriguez reveals big news with Joe LoCicero

American actress Gina Rodriguez is expecting her second child with her husband, actor and writer Joe LoCicero, and she announced the big news in an epic way.

On Friday, July 11, the Jane the Virgin star revealed her pregnancy on the red carpet at Netflix’s Katie Taylor vs. Amanda Serrano 3 fight, held at Madison Square Garden in New York City.

Photos from the red carpet show the couple beaming with joy.

Gina cradled her baby bump in a short-sleeved, floor-length black-and-floral dress, while her husband stood beside her, embracing the happy moment.

The couple already share a son, Charlie Ray, whom they welcomed in 2023.

In January, the actress opened up to PEOPLE about her initial fear of having a second child.

"I wanna post everything about him, but I limit it. And I know at some point I'm gonna have to stop because it's his life, but I'm just so in love," she said of her “eloquent” toddler.

"His communication is unbelievable, and I'm so grateful for it because he communicates what he wants, what he needs, his boundaries — he's teaching me boundaries!" Gina added.
