Popular HBO series, Westworld creator, Jonathan Nolan opened up about his desire to wrap up the story.
Talking to The Hollywood Reporter, he explained that he will complete the story even if he has to switch to another medium, “Yes, 100 percent. We’re completionists. It took me eight years and a change of director to get Interstellar made. We’d like to finish the story we started.”
The series was sadly cancelled after 4 seasons, just ahead of its highly anticipated ending, which came as a shock to both the fans and the creators.
“In a futuristic Western-themed amusement park, Westworld, the visitors interact with automatons. However, all hell breaks loose when the robots begin malfunctioning,” reads the synopsis of the series.
It had a star studded cast featuring Evan Rachel Wood, Thandiwe Newton, Jeffrey Wright, James Marsden, Ed Harris, Anthony Hopkins, Luke Hemsworth, Tessa Thompson, Rodrigo Santoro, Angela Sarafyan, Simon Quarterman, Ben Barnes, Jimmi Simpson, Shannon Woodward, Clifton Collins Jr., Vincent Cassel, Aaron Paul, Katja Herbers, Gustaf Skarsgård and Hiroyuki Sanada.
It won several major awards including Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Drama Series.
