Sean “Diddy” Combs apparently had a lot of supporters and people rooting for him, which is evident from the surprising number of people that have rallied up behind him ever since the verdict was announced.

In a bizarre turn of events, the Bad Boy Records founder’s victory was even celebrated by fellow inmates, who gave him a standing ovation as he headed back to his cell after being denied bail.

The Mo Money Mo Problems singer’s attorney, Marc Agnifilo, who himself was elated with the victory broke the news to media outlets in a recent address.

Marc noted that the achievement was a significant one for incarcerated Black men in America, which is why it was so celebrated by detainees.

“They all said, ‘We never get to see anyone who beats the government,’” he stated, referring to the inmates.

The defence team lawyer also gave an update on Diddy himself saying that the 60-year-old was doing alright and that he “realizes he has flaws like everyone else that he never worked on.”

Agnifilo went on to paint him in a more positive light by saying that the former talent director has realized that no amount of fame or fortune can erase or hide his shortcomings.

What is next in Diddy’s trial?

Judge Arun Subramanian has scheduled a hearing on July 8, 2025 to discuss with both sides when to carry out the sentencing.
