Bob Odenkirk has given an update on his stunts after suffering from a serious health scare that changed his perspective on life.

The 62-year-old had suffered a heart attack in 2021, which would make one think that the comedian has given up on performing physically strenuous acts on set, but such is not the case.

“I do my own fighting. But they don’t let me fly through the air," revealed the Breaking Bad alum in an interview with People magazine, adding that high falls or being attached to wires is simply no longer a possibility.

Bob noted in the same issue, “I love doing the stunts, the stunts are the closest thing to sketch comedy of anything I’ve done because there’s something about pulling it off.”

The Emmy winner, whose heart stopped for 18 minutes during filming for Better Call Saul, explained that stunts allow one to improvise, and when done well, add the intended comedic effect.

Although the screenwriter does not fly in Nobody 2, his character Hutch Mansell does get into a bunch of altercations as a former assassin fighting off goons sent by a crime boss.

The sequel features a star-studded cast of Hollywood icons such as Christopher Lloyd, RZA, Colin Hanks, Sharon Stone and many others.

When did Nobody 2 come out?

Nobody 2 came out on August 15 and is viewable in theatres now.
