Former beauty pageant Kseniya Alexandrova, who represented Russia at 2017’s Miss Universe contest, breathed her last at the age of 30.
On July 5, Kseniya sat in the passenger seat while her husband was behind the wheels during their drive back home from Rzhev.
An elk suddenly came on the road and smashed through the windshield which resulted in her severe head injuries. On the other hand, her husband was reportedly not affected by the fatal incident.
On August 12, the model succumbed to the injuries sustained during the car accident after being admitted to the intensive care unit.
The sad news of her passing was confirmed in a statement by her modelling agency Modus Vivendis, originally released in Russian language.
They announced: “it is with deep sorrow that we announce that our colleague… Kseniya Alexandrova, passed away last night.”
The statement noted that the television host “was bright, talented” star who “knew how to inspire, support and give warmth to everyone around her.”
A special tribute was shared by the Miss Universe Organization through their official Instagram page, remembering her through a series of her videos from beauty competition.
In the clip, the departed soul conveyed an important message, urging “people around the world to believe in themselves and to always have a dream.”
She insisted: “We should be strong and believe in ourselves and never give up on our dreams.”
