Jennifer Holland makes surprising revelation about James Gunn

Jennifer Holland, returning as Emilia Harcourt in Peacemaker season two, has revealed how she has kept her marriage to James Gunn strong.

The 37-year-old actress admitted that the Superman director's work at DC often dominates his time, leaving little room for rest.

Speaking to PEOPLE, she said, “I’ve not been upset or judgmental with James, but I know his number one focus right now is giving his all to this opportunity at DC."

Furthermore, Jennifer revealed that the 59-year-old filmmaker is well known for going above and beyond to please fans.

"He’s putting every ounce of himself into it,” she continued.

She clarified that, although he is aware it is impossible to satisfy everyone, he still honours the comic book characters and strives to give audiences the best possible stories.

“He’s incredibly committed to making it the best he can,” she said.

While reflecting on her own career, The Suicide Squad actress also gushed about her Peacemaker co-star John Cena, calling him “an incredible, professional partner” from season one through season two.
