Ozzy Osbourne, who is ending his music career due to health issues, paid a special tribute to the late Liverpool footballer Diogo Jota during his final ever show.
The 76-year-old singer reunited with Black Sabbath members, Tony Iommi, Geezer Butler and Bill Ward, after the band broke up on February 4, 2017.
As the farewell performance neared its end, the rocker decided to cherish the memory of Diogo, who passed away on July 3, 2025.
The band moved their fans to tears as the screen showed a picture of Diogo after Ozzy appeared solo on the stage.
The footballer and his brother Andre Silva met their tragic end after a car crash in Spain. Their last rituals were observed in Gondomar on Saturday.
The overall show was emotional as Ozzy announced an end to his live performance career with his final gig in Birmingham, where the band was originally founded 56 years ago.
Hours before Black Sabbath’s performance, Yungblud devoted a song to the 28-year-old.
This came after Noel and Liam Gallagher, who are currently headlining their reunion tour, paid a homage to the deceased star with their hit track Live Forever.
Ozzy was fired from the Black Sabbath due to his excessive drug abuse. Tony claimed: “it wasn’t my decision to fire Ozzy. It was a band decision."
“It was either we break up or we carry on without him,” the lead guitarist added.
