Chris Pratt walked through the challenging part of stepparenting.
Appearing alongside his wife Katherine Schwarzenegger in a recent interview, the Guardians of the Galaxy star described parenting as a “tough job.”
On Tuesday, July 15, during a candid conversation with the host Dr. Shefali on her podcast Parenting & You with Dr. Shefali, he stated, "It's a tough job. Parenting is a little bit like mo-cap acting because, in the end, you don't end up getting the credit you deserve."
Notably, the Garfield vocal star is the proud father of four adorable children: son Jack, whom he co-parents with his ex-partner Anna Faris, and Lyla Maria, Eloise Christina, and Ford Fitzgerald, whom he shares with his wife, Katherine, 35.
He went on to say that parenting a stepchild can feel “thankless” however it requires significant efforts, appreciating his current wife.
During the chat, the Take Me Home Tonight actor also mentioned that the children of broken families often suffer more as they "continually process the fact that they are children of divorce."
For the unfamiliar, after dating for nine months, Pratt and the American author exchanged vows on June 8, 2019, in a close, intimate wedding ceremony.
Katherine Schwarzenegger is the daughter of legendary actor and businessman Arnold Schwarzenegger, who rose to fame from his iconic film The Terminator.
