‘Jurassic World Rebirth’ heading for major opening

The brand new film Jurassic World Rebirth from Universal Studios is looking at a $28M opening following early previews.

Directed by Gareth Edwards, it is being predicted that the movie is heading towards a $77.5M 3-day, $127.5M 5-day.

If competing against other flicks in the Jurassic franchise, right now Rebirth is the 4th highest, with the top three including 2015’s Jurassic World ($81.9M), 2022’s Dominion ($59.5M) and 2018’s Fallen Kingdom ($58.5M).

Although there is no audience score, ratings at the moment stand at 54% Rotten, which is a step up from Dominion‘s 29% Rotten.

Social media analytics corp, RelishMix said on the film’s incredible social media reach that it “is excellent — plus 219M monstrous views on Facebook, plus the studio has fed over 50 videos into the mix on YouTube which is notably exceptional.”

Their mission is to secure genetic material from dinosaurs whose DNA can provide life-saving benefits to mankind. As the top-secret expedition becomes more and more risky, they soon make a sinister, shocking discovery that's been hidden from the world for decades,” reads the synopsis of the flick.
